Geek Girls Create’ aims to inspire and help motivate the next wave of talent to create the work they’re passionate about, answering questions like:

Where to start once you have an idea?How to get a creative team and your community behind you?How to build a brand?How to harness social media and the press to create  buzz around your work?When and how to crowd fund?

Each panelist has proven to be a powerhouse in content creation and online marketing, building a loyal, dedicated fan base along the way.

 

GGC has a collective experience of over 10 years in the industry; members have been panelists at Comic-Con, WonderCon, Comikaze, GeekGirlCon, women’s conferences, awards shows and more.

These women have joined forces to provide a one-stop-shop of skill, knowledge and passion, along with a powerhouse of energy that’s sure to inspire and motivate any audience.

Online entertainment has always been about thinking outside the box and creating outside of the “normal” genre system of television and film.  Come meet some of the creators who have made strides in melding with yet another type of media: print media.  Whether creating within a comic-like storyworld or adapting a classic Jane Austen novel for the online audience, these creators are truly taping into the reader’s world and they’ll share how they’ve done it.
